Welcome!

My name is Heidi Refsdal and I am a third-grade teacher at Perris Elementary School District.  

I teach because I have a passion to instruct, encourage, praise, influence share, guide and inspire all of my students.

I teach because I want to! I’ve always wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a young girl, and I instill in my students that you can be whatever you want to be if you put your mind and heart into it!

I teach because there are few things better in the world than seeing the look of surprise and joy on a child’s face when he or she finally “gets it!” I really mean it when I tell my students that I couldn’t possibly be more proud of their accomplishments. They are all my children, and they all take a piece of me wherever they go in life. As teachers, we truly touch the world!
